ZBC - Zealand Business College

Located in Ringsted, Denmark, ZBC – Zealand Business College is the country’s national watchmaking school and the only institution offering a complete professional watchmaking education in Denmark. The programme combines classroom instruction with apprenticeship training over four and a half years, allowing students to develop the practical and theoretical skills required to service, repair and restore both mechanical and electronic watches. Throughout their education, students gain extensive experience in fine mechanics, customer service, diagnostics, precision adjustment and restoration techniques while alternating between the school and professional workshops. Graduates complete a recognised journeyman’s examination and are prepared for careers in independent workshops, authorised service centres, luxury watch retail or the wider international watch industry. ZBC also supports qualified watchmakers through advanced specialist courses in chronographs, vintage restoration, micro-laser welding and finishing, reinforcing its role as the leading centre for watchmaking education in Denmark.
