Habring² is an independent Austrian watch brand founded in 2004 by Richard and Maria Habring in Völkermarkt. Built around a philosophy of practical innovation rather than unnecessary complexity, the company develops reliable, thoughtfully engineered mechanical watches in small annual production. Richard Habring, a graduate of the Karlstein School of Watchmaking, gained international recognition through his work on complications, particularly split-seconds chronographs, before establishing his own manufacture with Maria. Together, they have earned a reputation for creating technically sophisticated yet understated timepieces, distinguished by robust in-house calibres, original complications such as deadbeat seconds and split-seconds chronographs, and an uncompromising commitment to independent watchmaking.
