Aubert & Ramel is a young independent watch brand founded by Franco-Swiss watchmakers Thomas Aubert and Alexis Ramel-Sartori. Shaped by rigorous training, traditional craftsmanship and a highly collaborative approach, the brand reflects their complementary strengths in technical development, design and mechanical architecture. Before launching Aubert & Ramel, the two founders built experience manufacturing, finishing and prototyping components for other independent watchmakers, while gradually developing their own workshop around traditional machinery. This patient progression remains central to the brand’s identity today. Guided by the motto “Watchmaking in Motion,” Aubert & Ramel approaches watchmaking as a dialogue between engineering, architecture and design, with an emphasis on small-scale production, in-house craftsmanship and a distinctive visual language rooted in contemporary independent watchmaking.
