Ming is an independent watch brand founded in 2017 by photographer, designer, and entrepreneur Ming Thein together with four partners, with the ambition of creating watches that combine original design, technical substance, and exceptional value. Although conceived in Malaysia, the brand develops its collections between Kuala Lumpur and Switzerland, with production and assembly carried out in La Chaux-de-Fonds. Since its debut, Ming has established one of the most distinctive visual identities in contemporary watchmaking through its layered dials, sophisticated use of light, and instantly recognizable case architecture. Constantly exploring new materials, manufacturing techniques, and mechanical solutions, the brand has become one of the most influential names of the new generation of independent watchmaking, demonstrating that innovation and refined design can coexist without compromise.
